"Brave Face" is an *original* 6x6" acrylic painting on wooden (poplar/pine) cradled board 1-1/2" deep. The edges of the piece are painted the richest of brown/eggplant to match the darkest portions of the painting itself. The work is protected with archival gloss varnish which really brings the colour to life. Photos just do not do justice to this! Such an endearing little piece complete with hanging hardware attached or it sits on its own as is.
Obviously, watermarks are not on the original piece. ;-) Colours may vary according to monitor settings, but I have done my best to represent the image as close as possible to the painting.
