"Wolf Eyes" is a 3-piece (triptych) mixed media piece on canvas (three 6-inch canvases). There is an surreal acrylic painted base layer, then pieces of acrylic (lightfast) painted rice paper were cut and positioned to create the wolves. The edges of the canvases are painted the richest of dark teal/blue to match the darkest portions of the painting itself. The work is protected and sealed with a satin/gloss varnish which really brings the colour to life.
This work is intended to be hung in a vertical manner in the order of #1 through #3, with #1 being at the top, and comes with hanging hardware attached. Photos just do not do justice to this! A very unique piece, indeed.
